Good hosting is important, and a lot easier if you know what you’re looking for. Here’s is a small checklist when choosing a hosting service…

- Price: You can find high quality providers for less than $9.95 per month. If you pay any more, you’re overpaying – but if you find a really cheap deal (I’ve seen as low as $1.95 a month), then just remember that you get what you pay for.

- Number of Domains Per Account: You should get a single hosting account that can host multiple domains at once. You’re going to need a domain name for each funnel, so you’re going to want your hosting provider to have the capability to host at least 5 or 6 with one account. It gets to be a pain to have multiple hosting accounts for your domains!

- GB Transfer: You don’t need to be all that concerned with this, unless you plan on selling video products through your website. You can get away with 10 GB of data transfer per month easily, unless you receive absolutely massive amounts of traffic.

- File Storage: You want your hosting provider to provide at least 2 GB of disk storage. This is in the case that you want to offer videos via your funnels at a future date.

- Customer Support: If you aren’t a geek, stuff can get really complex. You’re going to want topnotch support. Do a simple Google search and look for reviews of a potential hosting company – if you don’t see good reviews for customer service, avoid them at all cost. It’s not worth the trouble.

For what it’s worth, I use www.Hostgator.com for my hosting. I highly recommend them…they greatly exceed all of the minimums I’ve set above. They also have great customer service – I’ve had to call on them a few times and they’ve been very friendly and helpful.

If you really want to drive important traffic to your blog, you will need to do more than just blogging. Today I am going to share a few tips that you can use to drive more traffic to your blog.

1. Create high quality content that is rich with your keywords and phrases. This brings two main benefits. First, high quality and useful content will keep your website’s visitors interested and they will visit your blog on a regular basis and will buy the products you sell on your website. Second, fresh content with your key words will improve your search engine ranking which brings traffic to your blog and website.

2. Optimize your blogs titles and use all the keywords or phrases which people use while looking for information on the internet. This will make your website visible on search engines, and your website will also rank high for all your keywords, driving traffic to your website.

3. Build your list with your blog. This is an effective way of bringing readers back to your blog. Having your own list is important because you can sell your products and services to your list. By using an auto responder as Aweber, you can send emails to your list about updates to your blog, hence driving more traffic to your blog.

4. Social book marking is yet another powerful way to drive traffic to your blog. If you rank high on some of the most popular social book marking sites, you can drive large volumes of traffic to your website.

5. RSS feeds are another method that you can use to keep people coming back to your blog because after people subscribe to read your RSS feed, they will get updates continuously. This means that you will be bringing readers back to your blog every time you make a new blog post.

6. You can use some of your blog posts and covert them into articles. All you have to do is to add more content to your blog posts if necessary, add a catchy article heading and convert it into an article.

Writing and submitting articles is one of the most effective strategies for traffic generation.

By implementing just a few of these strategies you can significantly increase the volume of traffic to your blog.

It might seem silly, but a 100% commission affiliate program can be more profitable and potent than an affiliate program which offered 75% or less – even if you’re selling master resell rights to the product!… And here’s why…

From your point of view, you may not make any money on the very short term, but you are motivating potential affiliate marketers to become active affiliate marketers that will promote your products and build your BUYERS LIST of subscribers in the process.

Your BUYERS LIST is the most important asset in your online business. If you fully understand this concept, you are set for a successful online journey!

Here is a list of reasons why affiliates love instant 100% commission programs:

1. The affiliate doesn’t have to set anything up: Even if the affiliate knew that he or she could grab 100% of the commission buy selling it through PayPal on his or her account, they would still have to buy a new domain name and upload the
new product to his or her site.

2. Reduced customer support: All customer support, problems and refunds have to be handled by the product owner. For the product owner it may seem like a heavy burden but if you offer great value and ensure that any customer receives a back-up email of their purchase you can assure yourself a clean inbox!

3. Instant payout: Why wait when you can have it now? Affiliates love it when they don’t have to wait weeks or even months for their commissions.

It is important to note is that all of this WILL NOT work unless you’ve got a decent product to sell. It doesn’t matter what the payout is, if your affiliates are not convinced that the product will sell, or if the sales page look sloppy, or if the graphics look shoddy, they simply will not promote! It’s that simple!

I wish somebody would have gave me this advice when I started online…

I remember how stressing it was for me to decide upon a niche, and as I was fascinated by the internet marketing niche, I also though “I had no chance” because I had no credibility or social proof that I knew anything about marketing online (actually I did not know much…).

Well, you know what, the “resell Rights” niche is the perfect niche to start with.

First of all, as a reseller, you don’t need social proof that you are an expert. It is enough that you are offering good quality info products that people are looking for, and you are set for success.

Second, because the ‘resell rights’ niche is a business for a business, your prospects are already in the right frame of mind to invest which makes it so much easier to make a sale and sales in the future.

With a master resell rights license for example, you are allowed to sell the resell rights license on to other online marketers, so that in turn they too can sell the product as many times as they want to the end user. Alternatively, you can sell directly to the end user and get the best of both worlds.

So the next question is… “where do I get Master Resell Rights products from?”

You could do a search on Google, pick up some out-dated free ones that are still lying around with mashed together sales pages and incomplete download pages, or you can pick them up directly from my new release at www.VideoResaleBlowout.com and have them readily made, polished and
well-presented so you can sell a bundle of them in one go.

There you will find 10 high quality readymade video info products with Master Resell Rights that will give you a good start to begin your online business.

Very often as a marketer you will be in a position where it makes more sense to outsource your content creation, be that for articles that will help your article marketing effort, or for special report creation, etc. So where can you outsource your content?

Here below are a few sites specialized just in writing and content creation, and they offer article writing services for a very low price… I mean you can pay from a $2.50 to $5.50 for one original 500 word article!…

www.needanarticle.com

www.CyberHubOnline.com

www.99centArticles.com

Please note that these places might take a little while for your articles to be delivered. They are of the finest quality, but do take some time – depending on the package size.

One more place you should consider, though not specialized just in content creation, is the marketplace www.fiverr.com. You can easily find there people that will write for you good quality articles for just $5…

In a future post I’ll talk about “Premium” content providers, that cost more (between $10 and $30 per page), but this will get you started. Be sure to check each one thoroughly as they specialize in different areas and the pricing and membership packages vary from site to site.

Did you know you can increase your profit sources when selling eBooks? Here are 3 tactics I use to multiply my profits:

1. Embeding Affiliate Links

This is probably the other and most commonly tapped profit center used by many E-Book publishers, aside from making money from upsells.

In a nutshell, you make even more money from your E-Book readers/customers by recommending them a related or follow-up product or service in the shoes of an affiliate marketer.

Yep, the keyword here is “related” and “follow up”.

2. Offer the Resell Rights, Master Resell Rights or PLR

If you have a proven, hot selling product that is currently being sold to your customers for personal use only, selling its Resell Rights, Master Resell Rights or PLR would be a HUGE plus.

For instance, if you have a proven hot seller that sells at $9.95, you can probably offer Resell Rights to your product for 3 to 5 times the price, possibly more, like $47.00 – $97.00!

You would be targeting resellers who are established in the same niche as you are. These resellers are good targets if they want to get their hands on an instant product that they can legally resell and pocket 100% of the sales without having to develop their own product.

Normally, you would also give your sales letter and other promotion tools alongside with the Resell Rights license to your main product.

3. Use other distribution platforms

What I mean here is putting your eBook on Kindle for example, and even on Amazon selling hard copies using CreateSpace, an Amazon service that permits self publishing.

Is social media part of your online strategy? The truth is that if you don’t start using social media now – today – you’ll be left behind.

Here then are 7 tips for using social media to drive traffic to your sites…

1. Work on your profile

When you first open your Twitter, Facebook, Squidoo or other social media site account, fill out your profile (including a picture). Doing so makes it easier for people to get to know you and build relationships with you.

2. Include a link to your site on your social media pages

This tip is simple but effective: Give people a reason to click through from the social media site to your blog or squeeze page. A promise of a free solution usually makes for a good enticement.

3. Use your real name

People who want to do business with you won’t respond well to working with “masterhack208” as cool as you may think about it… J

Instead, build trust by using your real name. Doing so also makes it easier for others to find you on Facebook and similar sites.

4. Interact

Social sites are, by definition, social. Instead, spend a few minutes each day interacting and getting to know people in your social network.

5. Ask your followers to “retweet” and “Like”

If you create a “buzzworthy” post (such as a post on a hot or even controversial niche topic), ask your Twitter followers to “retweet” it or your Facebook friends to “like” and ask your other social media networks to repost it.

6. Link your social site pages together.

Link your Twitter account to your Facebook, MySpace, Squidoo, HubPages and other social media pages.

7. Post great content.

Well, there are several factors to consider when choosing your domain name. Here are some basic tips to start from:

- Get a .com extension (rather than .net, .org, etc). The .com name is still the most recognizable and popular extension, so choose a .com name whenever possible.

- The name should be descriptive. In other words, someone should get a sense of what your blog is about just by seeing the domain name.

Example: It’s clear that “dogtraining.com” will be about dog training.

- The name should be easy to remember and say. A name like “dogtraining4u” is cutesy, but it’s not a good name. That’s because someone who hears the name doesn’t know if the “4” is for, fore, four or 4. Likewise, the “u” (you) at the end can cause problems.

Keep it simple – if you have to explain the name, it’s probably not a good name.

- Use keywords. Go back to your keyword research. Did you see any keywords that would make a good domain name? If so, purchase a name with those keywords. But don’t choose a keyword-laden name at the expense of the other factors above. That’s because your domain name is just one small factor that helps determine your search engine rankings. Of course, if you are just building a network small niche websites solely to get free traffic and sell through AdSense, CPA or affiliate marketing without spending too much time on creating on going content, then the keywords for your domain are an essential part of your strategy.

- Finally, use a reliable domain registrar. I use www.GoDaddy.com because of their excellent customer service, but make sure you use ONLY for domain registration and ignore all the up-sells that come through while buying your domain.

One of the most difficult issues when beginning as an internet marketer boils down to what market you want to address, and till this day, this is what blocks newbies from taking action.
Here are two simple rules I suggest you look at when deciding what you want to focus on, especially if you are just starting up your online business. This is what I did and I’d suggest that you do the same in evaluating what market you want to build your business upon.
1. A market accustomed to spending money.
If the market isn’t accustomed to spending money – and, generally, a “lot” of money since we want to have the possibility to sell high ticket items, then there’s no point in directing any effort towards it. “College students” isn’t a great target audience simply because most of them are broke! On the other hand, “golfers” spend an important budget each year on their hobby … they certainly would qualify.
2. A market in which you have knowledge, experience and some passion.
This is very important as well. Why? because you want to create a connection with your target market through your content related to this market, even if you outsource content creation.
Still, if you have no knowledge or experience as a “golfer” for example, you can still develop this knowledge. This is not rocket science after all…
It’s this combination of revenue and authority that will make for the perfect market for you.
